Since this is the final weekend of the year, a big thank you to all who helped out in all our churches during the year, those who read, serve, ministers of the Eucharist, collectors, singers/musicians, those who decorate the churches, those who open and close Clonmult Church, those who clean-up and repair the church grounds and to all who help in any way.
To those who gave of their free time to all the different organisations within our community, without this support no organisation would survive, we are deeply indebted.
To all the new families who joined our community in 2018 you are most welcome, all clubs need a little fresh thinking so please get involved.
Progressive 45. We are on our Christmas break at the moment, cards resume on Wednesday 9th, January 2019. Thank you for your support during 2018.

Masses during the Week. Tuesday is Christmas Day, Vigil Mass on Monday at 8.00 pm in Dungourney and Christmas Morning at 9.30 am in Dungourney. Christmas Day Mass 11.00 am in Clonmult. Mass on St. Stephen’s Day 10.00 am in Dungourney. No mass on Thursday and Friday.
There will be no Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday night.

Cork Penny Dinners. The annual appeal for Cork Penny Dinners takes place again this Christmas. Donations of non-perishable food would be greatly appreciated and can be left in the collection box at the back of Dungourney Church on Christmas night or in Clonmult on Christmas morning.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service. Irish Blood Transfusion Service will hold a blood donor clinic in Garryvoe Hotel on Sunday, 30th December from 12.00 noon to 3.30 pm. All are welcome.

Dungourney Prayer Group. Dungourney prayer group will be having Rosary followed by Mass and refreshments in Dungourney School next Tuesday, 18th December at 7.30 pm. All are welcome.
We welcome the First Holy Communion children and their families to the 11.00 am Mass in Clonmult this Sunday. They will play an active part in the liturgy of the Mass.
Christmas Penitential Service. Penitential Rite in Dungourney Church on next Sunday, 23rd December at 8.00 pm. There will be several priest’s present so it’s a good opportunity for the Sacrament of Confession. (7.00 pm in Castlemartyr Church).
Carols by Candlelight. The annual Carols by Candlelight will take place on Thursday 20th December at 8.00 pm in Castlemartyr Church. Do come along and enjoy this highlight of the festive season.

Diocesan Collection. The monthly for Diocesan and Religious Purposes will be taken up at all Masses this weekend.
Confirmation Children. We welcome the Confirmation Children and their families to Mass this Saturday night. They will take part in the confirmation enrolment and commitment ceremony. We wish them all the best as they prepare for confirmation which will take place in Mogeely on Tuesday, 14th, May 2019.
