Parish Pastoral Council. In the Church and in our Parishes we need to plan for the future. One of the things that has helped in some parishes is the formation of a Parish Pastoral Council (PPC). The purpose of a PPC is 3 fold; it is to investigate, and to consider matters in relation to pastoral activity, and to formulate practical conclusions concerning them. In the words of Pope Francis – “The parish must be in contact with the homes and lives of the people, its mission is to create community and as such it must be a centre of constant missionary outreach”.

With a view to forming a PPC in the parish, I would like to invite interested parishioners to help in discussing the best way to go about this.

Please contact me over the next week so we can plan the future for the parish (086/8395305).

God bless Fr. Frank.
