Clonmult/Dungourney News.

Masses during the week. Monday and Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, Masses on Ash Wednesday at 9.30 a.m. (Clonmult) and 7.30 p.m. (Dungourney). Blessing and distribution of Ashes at both Masses. Masses on Thursday and Friday at 9.30 a.m.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Dungourney Church on Thursday at 8 p.m.

 99th Clonmult Ambush Commemoration will be held on this Sunday, 23rd February 2020 at 12.45 p.m. at the Ambush Site in Clonmult. The oration will be delivered by Dr. Gabriel Doherty, School of History, University College Cork. It will be preceded by Mass at 11.00 a.m. in St. Lawrence’s Church Clonmult. All welcome.

The Faithful Departed. The Months Mind for Joe Brown (RIP) will be celebrated next Sunday, 1st March at 11.00 a.m. in Clonmult. Anniversaries, Edmond & Peggy Barry Couragh. May they rest in peace

 Is the Lord Calling you to Priesthood? An afternoon for men considering a vocation to the Priesthood in the Diocese of Cloyne will be held on Saturday, 7th March at the Nano Nagle Centre, Killavullen, from 2.30 pm – 5.00 pm. The afternoon will consist of reflection, prayer and the opportunity to find out more about becoming a priest in our diocese. For more information Fr Brian Boyle (Vocations Director) at 085 2553787. There are currently two candidates studying for the Priesthood for the Diocese of Cloyne.

ARISE Event – Knock Shrine. ARISE is an event for young Adult 18+ National Event takes place in Knock Shrine on Saturday, March 7th 2020. The day will include inspirational speakers, worship, prayer and workshops running from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. this day is organised by CMYI – Catholic Youth Ministry Ireland. If you are interested in attending this event please contact Mallow Parish Youth Ministry, Bernadette on 0868031126. If there are a number of people interested we will organise a bus.

Bealtaine Festival 2020 – Invitation- Celebrating Creativity as we Age.Consider running a Dawn/Dusk Chorus during the month of May.
