 Masses during the Week: Mass during the week will be streamed live on Facebook Imogeela Parish at l0am each morning. Saturday evening at 7pm. Sunday morning at 11am.

Churches open for private visits and personal prayer. From Tuesday 2nd June the churches will be open from 10-30am to 7pm each day.

Trocaire: Trocaire boxes can be handed into either of the priests houses. Donations can also be made online, or Freepost, Maynooth, Co Kildare

Annual Novena to the Sacred Heart. The Annual Novena to the Sacred Heart, will be streamed live each evening beginning on Thursday 11th June at 7-30pm, until Friday 19th June, Feast of the Sacred Heart. On Saturday 13th June the novena prayers will be recited at the Vigil Mass and as it is the Feast of Corpus Christi, there will be a blessing of the Blessed Sacrament. On June 19th, Feast of the Sacred Heart Mass will be offered for the intentions of those who are making the Novena.

Trocaire Lenten campaign. Trocaire has issued an appeal that your Trocaire Box can make a big Difference. You can donate to Trocaire online at https://www.trocaire.org/ by sending your donation by freepost to Trocaire, Freepost, Maynooth, Co Kildare, or if you wish you can hand them into either of the priest’s houses. Please do not leave in churches.

Gradual Reopening of Churches for private visits and personal prayer.

Following the announcement of the government roadmap for reopening society and business, the reopening of churches was discussed.

From Monday 18th May, 2020 churches will open for a period of time each day for visits and personal prayer. You are asked to observe the following guidelines.

➡ Use hand sanitiser which is inside the door of the church.

➡ Write your name in the visitor book.

➡ Social distancing 2 meters to be observed.

➡ Use wipes at shrine.

➡ Use designated seats only.

➡ No formal gathering, such as Rosary groups are not permitted at present.

➡ Mass will continue to be celebrated behind closed doors until further notice.

➡ Be responsible, keep each other safe.

Good Shepherd Sunday: Today the 4th Sunday of Easter is known as Good Shepherd Sunday, it is also Vocations Sunday, a day when we pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Prayer for Vocations: Lord Jesus, you said to your disciples, The harvest indeed is great but the labourers are few. We ask that we may know and follow the vocation to which you called us. We pray for those called to serve, those whom you have called, those you are calling now, and those you will call in the future. May they be open and responsive to the call of serving your people. Amen.
