St Peter’s National School. St. Peter’s re-opens its doors again this coming week after a longer than usual summer break. We wish all the children well in the academic year ahead. A lot has changed since they were last in the class room. John Boylan has decided to retire after many years as Principal. Under his stewardship and the teachers at his disposal the pupils excelled both academically and with their extracurricular activities. Duncan McCarthy a former teacher in the school is now at the helm. We wish them both well in the years ahead.

Remembrance mass on Thursday 27th August 2020 at 7.00 pm in Lisgoold Graveyard. Mass at his graveside will mark the anniversary of his death by Crown Forces on the 27th August 1920.
