First Saturday Devotions. The usual First Saturday Devotions in Clonmult next Saturday. Rosary and prayers at 9.45 a.m. followed with Mass.
Presentation of the Lord. Thursday is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas). Candles for home and church use will be blessed on Thursday at the 10.00 a.m. Mass in Mogeely and at the 11.00 a.m. Mass in Dungourney. The pupils from the senior classes in Dungourney school will play an active part in the liturgy of the Mass. They will also display their artwork, sing and play. This is part of “Grandparent’s Day” which is part of Catholic Schools’ Week. All welcome.
Feast of St. Blaise. Friday is the Feast of St. Blaise. Blessing of throats after Mass on Friday in Clonmult and Mogeely.

Diocesan Collection. The monthly collection for Diocesan Religious Purposes will be taken up at the Masses next weekend. The envelope for the collection is included in the box of envelopes.

Organ Recital. Organ Recital, St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh. Sunday, 12th February at 3.30 p.m. Organist – Donal McGann, New College Oxford. No tickets required. A retiring collection will take place to defray expenses.

4Ukraine. 4Ukraine – a Cork based charity that was set up by community leaders are collecting non-perishable items to be sent to Ukraine. Any contribution can be dropped off at Dungourney ball alley during the times below or to Sheila Hennessy in Mogeely 0872562358.
Sunday (29th Jan) evening at 8pm or Monday (30th) at 9am. The items will be collected at 10am Monday morning.
A second opportunity to drop-off will occur again on Sunday (12th Feb) at 8pm and Monday (13th Feb) at 9am and collection that Monday again at 10am.

Shrine Candles. Due to the increased cost of shrine candles, we need to increase the price of the candles. For Castlemartyr and Mogeely the new price will be 30 cent per candle.
For Dungourney and Clonmult the new price will be 20 cent per candle.
