Clonmult Ambush Commemoration Quiz Night. Our Quiz night at the “Two Mile Inn” on Friday night was the place to be, 36 teams battling it out on the “Knowledge Trail”. Following ten rounds, with eight questions per round we finally had a winner. In First place we had Pat O’Neill’s Bar followed by Rigney’s Garage in second. In third place we had the Geaney family Dungourney, some family performance, mam & dad, Celine / Eddie together siblings Orlaith / Kieran showed they were a match for the best. Thanks to our quiz master Tim and his backroom staff everything went off perfectly. We would like to thank all our teams, our sponsors and Tony and his staff at the “Two Mile Inn” for making this venture suck a success.

On Sunday 17th, February, our Annual Ambush Commemoration will take place. There will be Mass in St. Laurence’s Church Clonmult at 11.00 am, followed by Prayers and Oration at the Ambush Site. This year’s Oration will be delivered by former Government Minister Alan Dukes, who has a family connection with the Ambush.
