(several priests will be available for the Sacrament of Confession, so it’s a good opportunity to receive the Sacrament)
Collection for the Holy Places. The collection for the Holy Places will be taken up on Good Friday at the Stations of The Cross and the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.
Chrism Mass. The celebration of the Chrism Mass will take place on Wednesday, 13th April in St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh at 7.30 p.m. As well as the Blessing of Oils, there is the renewal of Commitment to the Priesthood. All welcome to attend.

Novena to the Mother of Good Counsel – 18th to 26th April. The Novena to the Mother of Good Counsel will begin on Monday 18th April. This year the novena prayers will be recited at the morning Masses at 10.00 a.m. and at the weekend Masses. On Tuesday, 26th April, Feast of the Mother of Good Counsel, Mass will be celebrated in Castlemartyr at 7.30 p.m. for the intentions of all who attended the Novena.
Easter offerings for the Clergy. The Easter offerings for the clergy can be handed in next weekend at the Masses or to the priests’ house. The envelope is included in the box of envelopes.
