Dungourney / Clonmult Prayer Group. Annual Pilgrimage to Mount Melleray on Wednesday, 2nd August. Mass at monastery at 3.00 p.m. followed by Adoration, followed by visit to local Grotto for rosary and prayers. Meal in Tallow on journey home. Cars leave from outside Dungourney school at 2.00 p.m.

World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. The third World day for Grandparents and the Elderly will be celebrated on Sunday, 23rd July. This year’s day is characterised by its close connection to World Youth Day, which will be held in Lisbon from 1st to 6th August. This relationship is evident in Pope Francis’ message to elders, inviting them to pray for and bless the youth who take part in the WYD, and to young people, urging them to visit and listen to the grandparents and elderly in their community.
