Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Dungourney Church on Thursday at 8.00 pm.
Ash Wednesday. Next Wednesday is Ash Wednesday the beginning of the Lenten season. Ashes will be blessed and distributed at both Masses on Wednesday.

Dungourney Prayer Group celebrate its anniversary on next Tuesday, 5th March in Dungourney School. Rosary at 7.30 pm followed by Mass, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All are welcome.

Dungourney/Clonmult Community Council Updates. Ironman Triathlon-An International Ironman Triathlon event is being held in June (based in Youghal) that will involve a portion of the competition going through Dungourney village. We want to make sure the area puts its best appearance on show, so we are applying for grants to help with area improvements In Dungourney and Clonmult. More details to follow, but we would like the community to rally around the preparation efforts as they are organized. Thank you.

On Monday evening the club welcomed representatives from Kiltha Og, Camogie Club, Community Council, Point 2 Point and Community Co-Op to view their new facilities. Facilities they can be justly proud of, Ball Alley with Astra Turf floor and Club Gym downstairs. Upstairs contains Function Room complete with kitchen, Ball Alley viewing area or complete view of the playing field. Added to that a seated stand, the only seated stand in the Imokilly Division, and the Club is “Debt Free”, thanks to a hard working committee and a generous community.
