All-Ireland Junior Hurling Semi-Final

Dungourney 1-11 Glenmore(Kilkenny) 3-10

On Sunday 24th January at Waterford W I T our 2015 Junior Hurling season came to an end. What began on 27th May at Clonmult Memorial Park with victory over Cobh, followed by wins over St. Catherine’s, Midleton and St. Ita’s in the East Cork Final. In the County series we defeated Harbour Rovers, Ballymartle and Cloughduv in the final following a replay. Dromcollogher-Broadford were defeated in the Munster Semi-Final and Fenor of Waterford in the final to see us crowned Munster Champions for 2015. Not since the “Glory Years” of 1902, 1907, 1909 has this club tasted such success. This has been a marvellous year not alone for those involved in the Club but for the whole community who have got behind this special group of players. Once again thanks to all involved in making us “Kings of Munster” roll on 2016 and Intermediate Hurling.
