Diocesan Collection: The Diocesan Collection for the Episcopal Conference will be taken up at all Masses next weekend.

Dungourney Prayer Group celebrates 25 years praying this year. To celebrate this, Bishop Crean will be the chief celebrant of Mass in Dungourney Church on next Thursday, 12th May at 7.30 p.m. There will be refreshments in Dungourney hall afterwards. Rosary at 7.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to this celebration, so please come along.

The First Holy Communion Mass will be celebrated in Dungourney Church on next Saturday, 14th May at 11.00 a.m. We wish the children involved, their families and all those helping to prepare them, all the best for Saturday.

Youth 2000 Summer Festival: Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th July 2016. This is a four day celebration of faith of young people aged 16 to 35. There is an action packed programme of inspiring talks, workshops, testimonies, prayer, music, drama and much more. Knockadoon Catholic Boys Camp: Knockadoon Catholic Boys Camp will take place 5th to 11th June, 2016. Ages 12 to 16. A joint initiative of Cloyne Diocese and Waterford and Lismore Diocese. A one week (6 nights) stay on site, full board camp in the picturesque sea-side village of Knockadoon in East Cork for boy’s age 12 to 16. The camp will serve as a week of fun, friendship and rowing in faith, activities include various sports, canoeing, swimming, hill walking, music, catechesis and prayer. Silver Jubilee: Fr. Joe Rohan is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of Ordination to the Priesthood. Jubilee Mass on the 20th May in Ballycotton Church followed by refreshments in the local hall. All are welcome to attend.

Pro Life Campaign Public Meeting in Cork: The Pro Life Campaign will be holding a public information meeting on Thursday, 12th May in Clayton Hotel, Silver springs, Cork at 7.30 p.m. The theme of the meeting is “The 8th Amendment – Ireland’s right to Life Amendment” and the aim is to update the public on the current situation as regards the Amendment and to encourage people to become more informed.
